Larbert Data Centre Campus

Apatura has submitted a proposal for a 300MW Data Centre Campus beside Glenbervie Business Park on Bellsdyke Road, a significant new digital infrastructure development for Larbert.

The project would deliver a major investment in a hyperscale green data centre, helping to power Scotland’s digital economy while supporting local ambitions for a fairer, greener, and more prosperous future.

More about the project

Thank you for attending the public consultations

We held public consultation meetings at Glenbervie House on 28 October and 27 November 2025. We will continue to keep you updated on project developments and welcome your feedback at any time.

The site boundary

This boundary identifies the land under consideration for development. All infrastructure, access points, and associated works will be designed within this footprint, subject to planning approval.

The red line depicts the site location.

Why now?

AI and other digital technologies are driving unprecedented demand for secure data capacity and energy storage. Countries worldwide are competing fiercely to attract the investment and infrastructure needed to lead in this new economy, and the UK must act quickly to secure its share.

Larbert has the location, scale, and strategic connections to deliver nationally significant infrastructure at exactly the right moment. With demand rising rapidly, there is a narrow window to secure the investment, jobs, and skills that will flow to regions ready to respond.

If we miss this opportunity, the benefits will go elsewhere. Acting now could bring billions in long-term value to Scotland and lasting benefits to the local community, from high-quality employment and training to enhanced infrastructure that supports future growth.
